The mission of Eco-Learning Legacies is to provide life-long learners (age 18 and up) with educational tools and online training options that support them in getting an education in the "Ecology of Personal and Planetary Well-Being" and reward them with 'real-life' opportunities to serve as Eco-Mentors in their homes and communities.
Eco-Learning Legacies was founded 2007 by Candia Lea Cole and her partner Thomas Suttle, for the purpose of providing individuals, families and communities with eco-education tools and online training support that serve to foster the development of a new and sustainable earth in the 21st century.
 Eco-Learning Legacies is the outgrowth of Candia’s personal and professional life journey, beginning with an arduous self-healing journey following her high school graduation, which, essentially led her to unearth her role and function as a wholistic health educator, whole foods cookbook author, and 21st century eco-visionary.
In 1996, after honoring an invitation (issued by the company formerly known as Cell Tech), to entertain and educate a large group of young adults at their annual summer celebration, she was inspired by the individuals in attendance, to develop new educational resources that could families in creating eco-friendly lifestyles.
For the next twelve years, Candia devoted all of her time to
the creation of the “Bring Back the Earth!” Eco-Learning Legacy
and Eco-Mentor Leadership Training. This work culminated into the
production of eight beautifully illustrated books and a series of 11
audios, along with a series of fun and engaging learning modules, all of
which were designed to facilitate whole brain learning and to overcome the
learning challenges that are said to affect at least 77 percent of the
population.
 Together, these educational products are offered for sale
and use through this web domain and e-learning platform. They may be
purchased by individuals for use in the home learning domain by any person
(age 16-18 and up) who has the desire to participate in a professional
eco-education certificate program and to gain direct contact with Candia in
the educational/mentoring process. Candia’s Eco-Learning Legacy may also be
purchased by colleges and other learning institutions through a license to
use option (Including an option to resell the product) that supports both
teachers and students in developing the life skills and wisdom that support
a conscious practice of sustainable living in the 21st century.
